Re: AD110 firmware v1.000.00AC006.0.R.200828

Thanks Danual for sharing your experience with the latest update. Fixing the night/IR reboot issue was expected, so it's good to hear you confirmed it. For anyone who is curious about the graph Dan posted - that is from Home Assistant's event history log. All those thin vertical lines show a change ...

Re: AD110 firmware v1.000.00AC006.0.R.200828

Hi amcrest168 . Ok, well it's good to know your motion is working OK. I've seen reports that it's either not working at all or its creating far too many false alerts. At this point, all we can do is try to determine a consensus on the severity of issues and/or what is working better than before. You...

Re: AD110 firmware v1.000.00AC006.0.R.200828

The version naming scheme for all previous firmware releases included at the end, the date of the build - in yymmdd (200828) format. So does this latest release, but now the format was altered to yyyymmdd (20200828). Apparently Amcrest re-released the tweaked Aug 28 firmware to correct whatever was ...

Re: AD110 firmware v1.000.00AC006.0.R.200828

So now those of us who are still on the 200702 firmware, we are getting a new firmware update notice - to version 200828 AGAIN! This same version was released Sep 16 and recalled Sep 20 with no explanation. So what did Amcrest do? Take a full month to fix something and reissue a new release with the...

Re: Smart Home app login issue

@micmack - Good to hear you are back online.

You also said that you got an alert that another firmware was available. What new version is the app asking you to update to - 200828 or 20102x?

If it's 200828, I suggest skipping it.

Re: Amcrest Doorbell

I'm thinking that Amcrest was also tired of having to replace so many doorbells because their customers used standard Amcrest software to configure and - oops, kill them. I would have expected that fixing this behavior would be high on their priority list for subsequent firmware releases. As you hav...

Re: Smart Home app login issue

I heard the new firmware ETA could be this Thursday.

I am not at all looking forward to updating to it until it's been driven for a while - especially to confirm local RTSP still works without a damn SH cloud connection.

Re: AD110 doorbell stiil constantly disconnects and reconnects...ridiculous

Coincidentally, just yesterday my son was having a similar issue with his Orbi mesh having intermittent disconnects and really slow WiFi bandwidth. Turns out his wireless Astro headphones (transmitting on 2.4Ghz) were in the same room as one of the Orbi's he was connected to. This was causing major ...

Re: Smart Home app login issue

Revo2Maxx - regarding: 702 didn't have any issues other then being offline the app, the 8xx was off the app and off my NVR Oh no! In other words, the implication is Amcrest had broken the ability to connect to the AD110 via RTSP locally in the 200828 firmware and introduced some odd cloud dependenc...

Re: Smart Home app login issue

@Revo2Maxx Is this new information you received from Amcrest?
there might be a larger issue then just adding more bandwidth to the server...
"Bandwidth" really? That was the cause of the outage?
