i updated the firmware of my two 841s to 18R so i could control their night vision function through the android app. controlling night vision via app was broken with 17R. so far so good with 18R.

if you are using windows, an option is to download the desktop software.

i find it more functional than using the amcrestview.com. just my 2 cents.
