Re: Amcrest Web Viewer for Chromebook (or alternative)
Sadly as I said in a different post.. 2020 or 2021 Released products of Amcrest I am going to guess they would be released with Chrome and Edge Support and all DVR/NVR that still get updates from 2019 and 2020 or 2021 will have Chrome Support.. While it might be Trimmed Support it is still supported..

Re: Amcrest Web View CHROME EXTENSION
mcsslc Hello and welcome to the forum Sadly not sure what or why.. While the system you said you are Testing is a Current device that does get or does at least have an update from 2020 that does support Chrome JS and then you said that you have tried the latest FW and failed to work or with No Succ...

Re: IP Camera Set Up on Covered Porch
There are people that use the little sister to the 1051 the 841 outdoors.. This one person used it in an area that I would have never installed the camera and they bragged about the 2 years they used it before it started to fail... For the cost 2 years is crazy to be honest and they had rain and sno...

Re: Bunch of issues with the NV5232E-16P
Well the NVR you can find the FW update here https://amcrest.com/firmwaredownloads also for your cameras if there are any new over the ones you have already installed.. Onvif Authentication is like turning off the ability to require a password for your nVR.. SO you could have yourpassword123 setup h...

Re: Bunch of issues with the NV5232E-16P
Well Just went though this now with another person that has a 4116E-HS and sadly the Wifi camera even turning off the ONVIF Auth.. Still didn't want to work.. Well from the normal network side.. It would work with App and webUI just not on the NVR.. After they updated to the 2020 FW it was working o...

Re: Bunch of issues with the NV5232E-16P
Hello and Welcome to the forum.. First and sadly I have to say most likely issue is going to be CCA cables.. If you don't already own the Cat6a cables. I would make sure they are not CCA.. Now I have to admit I dog CCA because it is JUNK and very bad for POE cameras loaning one of my AI cameras to a...

Re: IP8M-T2599E Vs. IP8M-T2499E Compared
Swap them out.. My guess is that it would be easier then you would think.. Well as long as they both share the same MSD and Reset case? Even if they don't there are a lot of people that have to take the cameras apart to change out a MSD or Reset the camera.. Plus without a Door makes it harder and l...
