Re: Ptz repair not as easy as I thought
Once and if I ever find out what the chip is lol. I will post some still shots of the repair. First one is already there with the Chip in place. With the removal just need to use hot air with long bent tip to get the heat down to that chip area. I am not sure if it is glued my guess is that it might...

Re: NV4108E-A2 IVS using Tripwire AND PTZ
Not sure what ver you are on, I am on the last one offered on the Website V4.000.00AC002.0.R, Build Date: 09-02-2022 It don't work on that FW so if that is the one they are telling you to upgrade to would be interesting if it works for you. I have done a Factory Reset of my NVR and that didn't corre...

Re: reverse proxy with IP2M-841B-V3
People are just always trying to make things something they are not.. First setting up the camera using any method of App or WebUI local to the device in question is nothing more then connecting to the IP that the Router gave it when it was turned on. Then once setup and you setup P2P the only thing...

Re: NV4108E-A2 IVS using Tripwire AND PTZ
Hello and Welcome to the Forum So I have this setup in another NVR for some other cameras and it has worked without an issue. So after your post I was like humm that seems odd. Then I seen you were triggering to record all 1,2,3,4,5 channels on the posted event so I thought maybe they did something ...

Ptz repair not as easy as I thought
So digging into my other brand ip ptz camera I thought it would be an easy repair when I connected it to one of my older POE NVRs and stopped working on POE.. well today thought I would take it down and take a look.. seems the issue I thought it might be isn't. Now have to find someone with like ptz...

Re: Can't connect to FileLu FTP CCTV backup server.
Can't tell you about reolink as not sure how they are setup.. I would double check if having issue with Amcrest to make sure that it is normal FTP setup and not a SFTP if the camera being used has the option. Normally will work as long as the Port and user and password is correct. Some servers will ...

Re: new camera wont connect to network??
Hello and welcome to the forum.. I would try a different Ethernet cable. However in the unlikely chance that your camera was connected to a CCA cable it might be already to late and camera would need to be exchanged for new one or if not bought new from Amcrest or an Auth dealer then would need to g...

Re: IP8M-2796EB-AI how can i setup an area when motion is detected the white light turns on?
Sorry not sure I understand.. Most of my true AI cameras I have all motion turned off and only use IVS for events. However if you are asking if using IVS and setup there does all other event types need to be setup for the lights to work on them events then yes, motion would also need to be setup. Ho...

Re: IP8M-2796EB-AI how can i setup an area when motion is detected the white light turns on?
My guess is that is a feature that isn't within that camera. While I don't know all cameras offered by Amcrest I know the normal layout for most devices. So if looking at your cameras event page *Meaning Motion and or IVS if your device has IVS.. Where you make all the adjustments for the events if ...

Re: People are invisible at night
Nighttime performance is considerably worse compared to daytime, although I'm uncertain about the specific type of 10-year-old camera you're referring to. I do own some very old Hikvision OEM cameras that outperform most budget-friendly IP cameras available today. However, to be frank, some of the c...
