Re: camera not connecting

Ok so at first thought it could be an issue with the NVR, However with the model you said you own there is no POE on that NVR so what POE switch are you using to power your camera? From your last reply this kind of now sounds like it is an issue with the Communication part of that dead port. Seeing ...

Re: AMDV5232-13 DVR Hard Drive Compatibility

Looking up the datasheet for the model this DVR was designed from. This is the info from that datasheet.

2 SATA ports, up to 16TB capacity for each disk. The maximum HDD, capacity varies with environment temperature.

Re: AMDV5232-13 DVR Hard Drive Compatibility

Back in the day when I bought my NEW Amcrest 8mp AI DVR everything on the web for me only offered 15fps so I thought that was for all cameras. When I bought it on the box that at the time said 15fps for 8mp and had 30fps for others like 2mp and 3mp. So yeah kind of had me upset because I could have ...

A2 model add back Lock out amount

So there is an area where you can choose to get notified when there is an illegal login, Great, I don't like that the magic number is 10. I like to also change the lockout time like I can on my other recorders to the max time if you get locked out.. Please add it back to the A2 Also would like to ha...

Re: Playback jump by 1 hour

You might want to look at a Different FW. If I am looking at the site right it looks like the one I am using will work for your NVR as well. Seeing mine on the site don't say it is for 5232E it has same info in it as your besides mine is 22 where if you are using the one that is showing for just the...

Re: Playback jump by 1 hour

So just tested that and it works as it should or as I would hope it would. Oddly starts about 3 seconds before the hour I selected but close enough that it isn't jumping an hour back.. I know it is a Pain, I am about to do a Factory Reset of my NVR.. I wouldn't do an Export and Import having this is...

Re: Playback jump by 1 hour

Hello and Welcome to the Forum.. What Firmware are you using? I just looked on my 5232E NVR and while I don't full time record the main stream I do have a few channels that I record full time on the Sub Stream. Mine is working as expected on that stream. I do have an issue every night after a reboot...

Re: camera not connecting

Hello and Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you the problem you are having might be a Port Specific issue and maybe not camera or cable issue. This could be a damaged port caused by static or lightning or many other factors. If the camera works on a different port and no other ports are open for the...

When you find a CCTV service provider that offers an ONLINE Forum with constant forum Engagement with Support and the R&D let me know. There are many different providers out there that don't even offer a Forum. Then there are some that have Support Help docs type forum and I go there and look at...

Re: PoE cams auto-switching from H.264 to H.265

To be honest if the footage isn't in an area that requires 100% record time I would setup the cameras for Motion or IVS if that is what your cameras are able to do, then that will free up a lot of disk space. I mean most of my devices are setup for IVS, or Motion and only a select few that have Audi...
