Re: AD110 was not designed for direct sun exposure

this is the new black plastic part where the old one had deteriorated and cracked from daily sun exposure. it's unknown if the new part is more UV resistant than previous batches.

Mounting holes from AD110 to AD410

I'm considering upgrading from the AD110 doorbell to the AD410. The AD110 has three mounting holes arranged in an inverted triangle (two on top and one below), while the AD410 has two mounting holes aligned vertically. If I install the AD410 by drilling a new hole above one of the existing AD110 hol...

Re: AD110 was not designed for direct sun exposure

AD110 was not designed for direct sun exposure

The sensor cover portion of the doorbell has cracked from daily direct sun exposure. The sensor cover was not made from the same doorbell housing plastic material. Has anyone experienced the same issue? Any suggestions on how to fix a cracked sensor cover? Thank you.

Re: AD110- Can you disable the mechanical chime?

@tmodlin , unfortunately it does not appear to be a current option. you can either post a feature request on this forum or submit a ticket requesting to add this feature for the next smart home app release if the feature is something the developers are able to include in future releases.

Re: AD110- Can you disable the mechanical chime?

amcrest smarthome app development team should be able to add 0s in the 'link digital/mechanical chime' drop down' basically to mute the indoor chime while retaining call notification.
