Similar issues here. Electrical tape also used to cover the remote IR sensor.

Model # AMDV7204 with latest firmware. I can connect to my cameras with the computers in my house using the LAN selection with my admin user name and password. If I try to connect remotely from work or with my laptop from anywhere else using WAN a pop up box says "invalid password (4) tries lef...
