I have some more information. I bought a card reader from Best Buy and inserted the micro SD card into it and transferred the files to my computer that way. The files had the audio. So it seems somehow the "web download" plugin isn't downloading the audio to the file.

Hello Melvin. I have the audio encoding set to AAC and the microphone volume is turned all the way up, but there is still no sound in the downloaded files.

My camera loses its overlay settings. I'll enable the date/time overlay, but it only lasts for about a day, then it disappears. I don't know why.
