One thing you can do is to add the DVR to favorites from the menu button. Then this will show up under favorites on the bottom of the live preview screen and you can activate the DVR from there.

It is possible to add multiple recipients for the email. You can add your wife's account under the second receiver and it would work. If you are using our IP Pan/tilt pro HD camera, you can get notification on the phone through the Amcrest Pro App.

Any USB 2.0 mouse that is compatible with laptops will work.

Currently the DVR system does not support any kind of external keyboards. However, it has been recommended for an addition in future.
