I have the NVR4108 model, it connects at 100mbps. I moved all cams and NVR to a Fast Ethernet (100mbps) POE switch and it works fine with no measurable drop in performance. unfortunately their support is about as good as your experience showed. I had the exact same response as I have a similar setup including brands and same issue with remote. I solved it by putting a piece of electrical tape over the ir receiver on the NVR.

reading your dilemma I thought through my post a bit more and found an area you may be getting tripped up on. Option 4 (firefox esr) it is key you dl and install the 32bit version. I had no luck with the 64 bit one but 32 worked fine on several of my systems. re-install the web plugin after. As for ...

What aggravates me about all this is the total lack of acknowledgement by Amcrest to their user community about what the plan is going forward. I have contacted support and their response is to downgrade, whereby this a work around when asked what the solution will be and a time line I got the stand...

Any response from Amcrest on this? Whenever I go to the chanel name screen and make an edit, they always revert to whatever they want to be.

same behavior on IE and Firefox. Chrome doesnt work but I think that is a known issue.
