Why is this thread locked?

I was troubleshooting a network issue with my AD110 and found this post to nail the issue on the head: https://amcrest.com/forum/amcrest-smart ... 14973.html

Why is the thread locked? I see no ToS violations or any valid reason for this.

Amcrest chime kit for AD110 work with AD410?

I'm planning on upgrading my AD110 doorbell camera with an AD410. Will the chime kit I currently have installed for my AD110 work with the newer AD410 model?

Re: AD110 chime broken after firmware update AC006.0.R.200828

I entered a ticket for Amcrest support and they never responded regarding this issue. I found the workaround to get the chime to work was to enable "Call Notification" in the device settings.

AD110 chime broken after firmware update AC006.0.R.200828

After installing firmware update 1.000.00AC006.0.R.200828 the chime no longer works when pressing the doorbell button. Is this a known issue or do I need to enter a ticket for support?

Re: Substeam (MJPEG) feed available for Amcrest Doorbell Camera?

The factory reset did the trick! - The Amcrest Smart Home app is now working again for live viewing and two-way calls - The high def RTSP feed is working in my offsite NVR (Milestone XProtect) - The low def RTSP feed is working with my local NVR (ContaCam) and local 9" viewer - Android IP camer...

Re: Substeam (MJPEG) feed available for Amcrest Doorbell Camera?

Thanks, unfortunately that URL doesn't work – only rtsp://<ip>:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0 works when I try in VLC player or my NVR client. I will try a factory reset and reprovision the camera and report back.

Re: Substeam (MJPEG) feed available for Amcrest Doorbell Camera?

Agreed, it's a dangerous game to poke around. After I attempted to access the substream URL mention in my OP, I hard to unwire to reboot – and then I could no longer access the video feed or calling function via the Amcrest Smart Home app. I can however still access it via the app to manage the devi...

Substeam (MJPEG) feed available for Amcrest Doorbell Camera?

Is a substeam (MJPEG) available for the Amcrest Doorbell Camera? The RTSP high definition feed is available via rtsp://<IP address>:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0 But I'm not able to find a low def (MJPEG) stream. When I tried the URL below (used by another Amcrest camera) it caused the...

Re: Latest firmware update for Amcrest cameras results in constant connection to cloud servers even for non-cloud custom

I'm from Amcrest Cloud support. Sorry for all the back and forth. We've finally come to understand the situation. Thanks for all the feedback via email and your blog post (great analysis btw). A couple of points: 1 - All the traffic from camera -> cloud is expected and standard for this kind of dev...
