Re: Playback from FTP server

I actually prefer shipping it off to my NAS and watching it another way, I have many other video players that I prefer. I think some of the major concern in this thread was the dav format which from more recent firmware that should not be an issue any longer with other formats available.

722s firmware updates

Is there an update coming to the 722s soon? Its about a year old. Would like to have some of the same functionality in it that my 841 has, like being able to have symbols in the password at least lol I do however like the selection boxes for motion detection in its firmware better, its easier to see...

Re: Can I change the port if I want to ?

Yes, Its in the web interface, setup>network>connection I havent used the "pro" app or what youre referring to, so maybe you have to go straight to the webpage for the cam itself I had to do this because the crappy modem provided for a setup I was doing wouldnt allow you to forward the sam...

Re: switching from day/night causes motion event

I work for a software company myself and forums seem to get the least amount of attention, typically more used to have the community of users talk amongst themselves. I really would like the feature to have different sensitivity for night mode too. I logged a feature request for the android app to h...

Re: IP2M-841B - mails send 7hrs backdated

After you updated to latest firmware, did you reset to default settings? I'm on latest and this used to happen with older firmware, the readme for the firmware says to reset to default settings to overwrite the camera's config to new settings.

Re: Camera not showing up in IP Config

not familiar with an ipconfig application, just the command line ipconfig, but if this is some sort of application then might want to check your firewall on the local pc and temp disable to see if thats the issue. If windows updates recently occurred it might be blocking the application. best thing ...

poor choppy video without sdcard sending to ftp

do the 841s use the ftp folder as an actual working directory for converting the video? I'm finding some bad quality videos being uploaded for my one cam that has about 50-70% signal. by poor quality i mean some green patches, cideo jumping ahead missing time. this is also on motion detect events. i...

Re: Email Date and Time is Wrong

your issue sounds a bit different, they seem to have resolved the one where it was a good couple of hours behind. I'm not using the "EnableDST" setting so I have not seen this myself, my cameras send me the proper time in the email now and my time zone setting is gmt-4

Re: Possible Interference?

would probably need to know more about the network topology to figure this out. are the two range extenders chaining across themselves to extend the range twice? I'm not sure how those work but im using wireless distribution system in dd-wrt firmware and it halves the total bandwidth, i have one acc...
