Re: Camera feature support question
Thanks for the response. I checked out the 3 cameras and I think I'll just stick with the 1041 or the 841.

Re: Video Velocity and an Amcrest Camera
You are correct about the subtype, 0 is for the main stream.

Re: Video Velocity and an Amcrest Camera - It works
I got one of my IP cameras to work with the program. Here's the URL I used: rtsp://userid:password@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=01 Replace userid with the admin userid for the camera, replace password with the camera's password. Replace xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx with the IP addres...

Re: Video Velocity and an Amcrest Camera
I'm using the free version of the program.
I'm working getting the video feed now using and RTSP URL. I have it working using VLC and the next step will be to get it to work using Video Velocity.
I post the results later today.

Video Velocity and an Amcrest Camera
Has anyone tried using a problem named Video Velocity to access an Amcrest Camera? If you have tried it and got it to work I have some questions: 1. What port number did you use in the URL? 2. Did you select a camera manufacture from the list provided? Amcrest is not an option. 3. Any other setup he...

This one about ASP font sizes should be a stickie
Are you tired of the really small font used by ASP? I was for a long time until I found this post:

ASP (version 2) and Windows 11
Yes, it works. However, with 8 cameras in live view each displaying the main stream (1920*1080 1080P) the core utilization was very high for all 16 cores of the PC I am using. All cores were running at 80 to 95 percent. There were no other apps running on the PC. When ASP is stopped the utilization ...

Re: ASP (version 1) and Windows 11
I guess I'll answer my own question - So far it works just fine.
I added 8 cameras and setup live view for all cameras. I did not install PC-NVR as I don't use it.
The version I installed is 1.14.1 2016-10-18.
Play back from the SD cards in each of the cameras also works as expected.

ASP (version 1) and Windows 11
Has anyone tried running ASP (version 1) on a Windows 11 PC?
If you have how did it work?
I've converted a couple of my PCs to Windows 11 and have not had a problem so far. I actually like the way it looks and runs.
Thanks
