I do use the app push for events. There are some other things in the web settings that appear to only be able to send an email (or at least they are not listed as push items in the app). That is too bad about the email providers. I had the same thought you did. Amcrest should provide an email server...

Email That Will Work With IP5M-B1276EW-AI & IP5M-T1277EW-AI

Can anyone recommend a free or cheap email account that will work with my IP5M-B1276EW-AI and IP5M-T1277EW-AI cameras? I have tried my Google, Apple, and Outlook accounts and none of them will work. My ISP does not provide an email account. I can get the configuration to save via the web interface, ...

I assumed they were not particularly needed as there are thousands upon thousands of cameras out there without them. It would be a nice touch though. It is good to hear they hold up over time. Thanks!

Biometrics Support For Amcrest View Pro Android App

The Android version of Amcrest View Pro has a password option, but no support for biometrics. It would be nice to use a thumbprint instead of entering a password every time.
