Firmware isnt listed on the website.... so I'm not sure how I would reload...

I agree. They said no it doesn't work that way, you have to use the AI features, but those are just for flashing the white LED and setting off the siren when detecting a car or person, neither of which I want to do. That's great, thanks, let me try this other adjustment tonight and then I'm open to that... I've used lots of other amcrests with other dw installs and never had an issue with IR. But this is my first one with color night vision/white spotlight.

OK, so under Day, set it to Smart Illumination and leave Night alone, right, that's what I thought.

Using DW, but that shouldn't change anything with the LED light, there's no control for that....

I was saying that I had tried that and no workie.... so I reset everything and am at default now with these settings.

Do under Light Settings -> Go to Night -> then smart illumination?

Under Day & Night -> Night -> Also set to Auto, Middle, and 6 Seconds....
