Re: IP8M-2496E and RTMP
We need to confirm port 1935 exists in the camera before anything else. Here is a great port scanner that's a clean open source tool that doesn't need to be installed. Just download it and run it when you need it. https://angryip.org/download/#windows It's fairly intuitive and will identify your cam...

Re: IP8M-2496E and RTMP
Gotcha. And not that convoluted at all.
So no NVR in the way, and presumably a fairly tight network with a certain degree of port control and no wide open upnp?

Re: IP8M-2496E and RTMP
I guess that clears up the conflict being with the NVR!
Does it go camera > switch > router > cable modem (or to whatever Internet demarc)?

Re: IP8M-2496E and RTMP
Sorry. I neglected to consider the NVR being in the mix. Which NVR? And is it doing the POE and DHCP for everything vs. an independent switch?

Re: IP8M-2496E and RTMP
The YouTube stuff will be associated with their required parameters for receiving the stream from the camera and configure externally with them through your channel's user interface..., not anything special configured in the camera except the RTMP port and maybe a change to the TCP port. In this par...

Re: IP8M-2496E and RTMP
Yeah. Pretty limited input here. The first suggestion would be to investigate a firmware upgrade. Notice the operative term 'investigate' prior to just blindly downloading and installing whatever they may have available these days. Two schools of thought on that. Mine is, "If it ain't broke...&...

Re: Anyone setup Orion yet?
Does it handle live 4K H.265 RTSP streams without glitching or tearing? How about CPU/GPU general hardware requirements? I gather it is ONVIF compliant despite the 'Amcrest Cams Only' disclaimer? Not a big fan of the Amcrest ecosystem with the exception of AVP, but would like to explore server based...

Re: Ptz repair not as easy as I thought
High performance chainsaws are my specialty. The only 4-strokes I work on are my own beaters...., frequently. LOL
A carb kit for that Kohler should be easily sourced given the model and tag number(s). Probably run around 20 bucks for OEM.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Re: Ptz repair not as easy as I thought
That is a very generous offer, but could you twist my arm just a bit more? LOL I'd be more than happy to put it to good use and have any number of locations for it. I'll make it work one way or another and happily pay shipping of course. Was coincidentally going to let you know about running across ...
