Re: AD410 reboots when doorbell button is pressed
Just received and installed my replacement AD410 and it works fine. I appreciate Amcrest for sending out the replacement after I did everything on my end to rectify the problem.

Re: AD410 reboots when doorbell button is pressed
Revo2Maxx - Support has now sent me an RMA for the AD410 itself. I saw your previous post about resetting the password which is definitely worth a try. Also, one of the first things support had me do was "update" the firmware. It was already up to date but I went ahead and reflashed it jus...

Got the new chime kit. No luck. Still crashes when the doorbell is pressed.

Re: AD410 reboots when doorbell button is pressed
The support ticket resulted in Amcrest sending me a new chime kit. I'll let you know what happens.
Thanks,

Re: AD410 reboots when doorbell button is pressed
You are correct on the transformer. 1.875amps is listed on the box. The meter I used is an inline meter to measure the current. When I just measured the chime and rang the bell (no AD410, chime only touching the wires together) the peak current was about 950mA. If I held the wires together it would ...

Re: AD410 reboots when doorbell button is pressed
I did some more checking measuring the current flow. The AD410 uses about 240mA in the normal state. When I press the button it peaks at 1.7A with the mechanical chime connected. Measuring the chime alone was about 950mA peak.

Re: AD410 reboots when doorbell button is pressed
Thanks again for the feedback. I just replaced the wires with new 18/2 wiring (did a mock up indoors) and replaced the transformer. To make sure I did the wiring correctly I tested the doorbell chime by itself by contacting the wires and it worked. When I connected the AD410 it still reboots. Now th...

Re: AD410 reboots when doorbell button is pressed
I have experimented with my Synology NAS and had read in another post that the NAS can affect the settings. I have the NAS disabled now though and have had it disabled since the last factory reset. Every time I change something to test the indoor chime I have to do a factory reset to remove the chim...

Re: AD410 reboots when doorbell button is pressed
For the chime time I have tested with as little as 1 second with my old digital chime and it didn't seem to make a difference. Now I have a mechanical chime installed. At this point it does kill the camera on every push of the button. When I reviewed my sdcard for "calls" I noticed it rebo...

Re: AD410 reboots when doorbell button is pressed
Thank you again for the response. I believe your picture accurately represents my setup. "It could be that the Chime Kit is damaged however if that was the case when you remove the Camera from being used with a Indoor Chime there should be no issue when the Button is pressed because the camera ...
