Thanks man. I have decided to turn mine off too, because my WiFi can be spotty and it is unsafe to share with people on the street that the doorbell does not have a connection when it is blinking.

I have the new bell, but the light on it is solid green again instead of solid blue and I cannot find any documentation or any help from Amcrest as to why this is.
