Update on P2P viewing: it currently works, but when asking support about a separate iOS bug related to setting up P2P devices I was told it's not supported anymore...so it's possible one day it'll stop working altogether due to an update and never be fixed.

That's a good workaround that I appreciate you mentioning, but the root issue still remains. What if someone wanted to record both locally and in the Cloud? The way Cloud currently works would still affect local recording due to settings being changed.
