I resolved the notification delay issue by replacing the AD410 with a Reolink Video Doorbell Wifi. It has no noticeable notification delay. It's unfortunate that Amcrest was unable to fix the problem.

Given Amcrest's lack of understanding of the cause of the AD410 variable event notification delay, one must wonder if this new firmware will make the issue better, or worse.

Is this new firmware supposed to improve mesh network operation?

I've been working this issue with Ancrest for months and they have now officially given up. Their "experts" want to attribute the issue to something they have not investigated at all (user's ISP or phone service - see below), despite my offer to link them in to my account. Weak, very weak....

Wish I could say the same. I still get delays. My human grid is only looking across the front porch, a distance of only about 6-8 feet.

The replacement AD410 suffers the variable delay too. If others have thus problem please contact Amcrest and let them know its not an isolated issue. I continue to have the same app notification delay issue, as I have had for months. Receiving the notification of a doorbell press ten or more minutes after the event is, said politely, incredibly lame. It's most disappointing that no solutions are offered on this forum. Not even any real suggestions.

Even after the doorbell button is pressed, that notification has a slight delay, sufficiently so that I can't really respond to the button press and interact through the app.

Oftentimes, there is a significant delay (over ten minutes) from the time of a detected event on my AD410 until the SH app issues the notification on my phone. Has anyone else seen this and been able to solve it?
