Re: IP8M-2496E and RTMP
Thx for that... Just watched the YT on OBS. I wasn't clear if it was suggesting you had to have your PC up and running 24x7 whist streaming (using option 1 : Direct Stream with RTSP)? I wouldn't be keen on that! Also, putting your camera PW in the RTSP IP address?!! Is that secure? Sorry - didn't un...

Re: IP8M-2496E and RTMP
Yes... not a lot! Here's a pic of what I see. Not sure what I can do with this.

Re: IP8M-2496E and RTMP
Tbh I wouldn't know... sorry reaching the limits of my basic knowledge. Port conflicts wouldn't surprise me... for example we have 2 Ubiquiti APs, 2 Devolo Powerline adapters, 4 Netgear switches (2x POE types), and a number of IoT's! Is there a scan I can run that would look for any port conflicts -...

Re: IP8M-2496E and RTMP
Actually, its quite convoluted! Camera > POE Switch > Ethernet cable to a Powerline Adapter (Devolo) > BT Home Hub Modem/Router I'm running 4 POE cameras this way - all working well (except I've never tried YT Livestreaming before). The camera, btw, is pointing at a Wren's nest, and her chicks hatch...

...quick additional comment, in case its relevant...
I don't record using an NVR, nor is there one anywhere on my home network. I use an SD card to save recordings.

Re: IP8M-2496E and RTMP
No NVR. Camera is obviously hanging off a POE switch.
Under Network > TCP/IP it does have Mode DHCP clicked. This wasn't something I did, so I presume this is set by default?

Next suggestion?

Re: IP8M-2496E and RTMP
Thx for the suggested course of actions! It appears my IP8M-2496E camera is a V1, because there's only one Firmware available for that camera, and that's the number I have! So nothing to try there. The challenge with inserting the YouTube URL is that there doesn't appear to be anywhere I can insert ...
