Thank you for the support. After much wailing and gnashing of teeth, I was finally able to reset my NVR resolution back to the HDMI default, using my computer and hard ethernet connections to tap into the Amcrest menu. I can now see the fruit of my labor after all the crawling around in my attic to ...

I also learned about packet identification because of this. I downloaded Wireshark and found my NVR's static IP (10.0.0.20) that is talking to my computer. I also can see the NVR using the Amcrest Config app now. The bummer is, I even tried setting up the TCP/IP4 to accommodate the 10.0.0.20 but I s...

From there, I'll try to access the menu where I can change the resolution back to the default for HDMI. That Out of Range indicator looks very familiar, as one of my monito...

My mistake! NV4108E-HS snafu to avoid

Hello there. When I was first using the Wizard to set up my NVR, I inadvertently configured a screen resolution that is too high. Immediately upon selection, the device reset the resolution and my HDMI connected computer monitor is no longer capable of showing the screen for the Amcrest NVR. I am go...
