Re: New AD410 doorbell dies within 5 minutes

The first two steps were video instructions of installing the camera and the second was installing the chime. After that I don't see the chime come back during the install. Maybe they already changed the setup procedure. Lets hope it doesn't die.
If it does I will post it here.

During the setup you mean adding the doorbell the Amcrest Smart Home app? Re: New AD410 doorbell dies within 5 minutes

update from the Netherlands, Just setup the AD410 directly on a 18vac 1A supply. I disconnected the original chime and did nothing with the chime kit.
AD410 works and trough Home Assistant I have the sonos speakers play a doorbell sound when the AD410 is pressed.

Re: New AD410 doorbell dies within 5 minutes

thank you Revo2Maxx,

I will try to find a suitable power supply 16vac 2A, and will skip the chime step in the setup.

I hope the will work!

Re: New AD410 doorbell dies within 5 minutes

I just bought the AD410 and want to install it in the Netherlands.
Has anyone a working setup without using the usb power supply.

I'm really curious what power supply I must use without frying the AD410.
