NVR Giving Decode Not Enabled Error
I have an Amcrest POE NVR connected to my IP, POE 4k turret and bullet cameras. There is no beeping from the NVR and I can connect to call cameras and record through the software. The Issue is that my direct connection to the NVR via HDMI is giving me the "Decode Not Enabled," error. It ha...

How long is my NVR holding my recordings?
I'm new to all this and this might seem like a simple question, but I see no where in the NVR settings to choose how long it holds onto my recordings. I see under basic in the storage option that is says 60min for pack mode, but that can't be right, can it? I can only record and hold for 60min? What...

Setting up vlan for new cameras
Not sure if this is the right place, but I'm trying to set up some new ip, poe cameras. I have created a vlan for them and profile, I then dedicated the ports to the correct profile, and nothing happens. I thought once each camera port is set to the right profile that they would then grab an ip addr...

IP camera bandwidth limit?
I have 25 IP POE 4k Amcrest cameras run through a 24 port unifi switch that is run through 1g fiber to another switch that is connected to a HIKvision NVR (I did not choose this setup) I have all the cameras up and running on a 172.16.*.* address off the network, and can see them from the direct con...

Re: Turret Cameras not resetting
What was set up before I got here was a HIKvision NVR with amcrest cameras. They are run through POE to a unifi switch that is run through fiber to another switch then to the NVR. The IP range set is one that is far away from any other range so as not to conflict with the rest of our organization. I...

Re: Turret Cameras not resetting
Thank you for replying. This at least makes me feel a bit better. Just have to get it just right, and now knowing it makes a click will help as well. While you are in an informing mood, I have another question. The cameras I'm trying to reset are causing me some issues. I reset them, plug them back ...

Turret Cameras not resetting
I have about 35 IPM-T2599EW 8mgp poe cameras, and due to me inheriting a giant mess from the previous guy, I'm trying to factory reset these thing. These are the ones where you have to take them completely apart to reach the ridiculous reset button under the circuit board. I have tried holding it do...

IP Camera will not accept usernam/pw
I'm losing my mind here. I have a bullet 4k ip camera installed via cat6 poe into a unifi siwtch. I installed it, configured it, and it worked fine. Fast forward a month and it stops working. I decided I'd do some trouble shooting and a part of that was deleting it and starting over. Now, no matter ...
