Re: PTZ commands to ASH21 camera?
Any luck with this? I'm trying to figure out PTZ control as well but it's proving to be difficult. The issue seems to be that new firmware and new devices only support digest authentication, so you can't use the HTTP API commands you might across either. And I think third-party DVR software basicall...

Re: AD410 Set Static IP
Thanks for passing it along. It really is a bit of a strange issue. So just now I was looking at the RTSP stream from the camera and I noticed it was stuttering. Checked and it was connected to the weaker mesh node. So I went into my router settings and bound it to the stronger node. The AD410 dropp...

Re: AD410 Set Static IP
My phones and some other devices I own have the ability to randomize their MAC address when connecting, so I think that capability could exist on the doorbell. I didn't know that a router could assign a MAC address to a device, I thought it only worked the other way around. For me it occurs only whe...

Re: AD410 doorbell: MAC address changes and password no longer works
Oooh, didn't know you could pull the entire config file at once. I do have an eth0 as well, I wasn't sure what it's for. And yeah, it's got an IP address that couldn't have come from my router (different subset or whatever). Also, I know these are re-branded Dahua cams, but why is the Domain listed ...

Re: AD410 Set Static IP
Yes, this has been working for me too. Thanks for sharing!
A little more preferable to do it this way since it does stick through reboots. Assigning it on the router is worse since the doorbell will change MAC address if it feels like it and change get a different DHCP reservation and IP address.

Re: AD410 doorbell: MAC address changes and password no longer works
Okay, so I tried messing around with LinkMode and set it to Ad-hoc from Auto. I also tried changing LinkEnable from false to true. table.WLan.eth2.LinkEnable=true table.WLan.eth2.LinkMode=Ad-hoc Don't think any of that helped. If anything, made the connection more unstable. The documentation is pret...

Re: AD410 doorbell: MAC address changes and password no longer works
Okay, I have a very similar problem. And I think I've figured some if it out. Let me know what you think... I have a mesh wifi system. Two nodes broadcasting 2.4GHz and 5GHz, same SSID names of course. So I set up the AD410 doorbell and found that wifi connectivity is just terrible right outside the...

Re: AD410 Set Static IP
The only way that I have seen for setting a static IP is through your router. The vast majority of routers (even ISP provided ones) have this functionality now. In my case, I'm using my AD410 doorbell's RTSP stream for HomeAssistant so I need it to have a static IP. And setting a static IP through m...

Amcrest AD410 doorbell wedge kit?
Hello, So I picked up the AD410 doorbell and set it up pretty easily. Some of the software was a bit clunky though, like to remove the Amcrest logo needed a specific app on Android that was able to remove the logo, but nothing else seemed to be able to otherwise. In any case, everything is working g...
