I have a 24vac 40va transformer to directly power the AM410 doorbell. 1. Will this work fine? 2. Do I need anything like a resistor inline (Ring doorbell shows the need for a 50W 25ohm resistor when direct wired without chime). Anything else I need to know about directly powering the device?
