Re: New Firmware for AD110 and AD410 Available

Yep, ipconfigtool is what you need to use for manually installing firmware outside of the SH app, even on ADxxx doorbells. https://support.amcrest.com/hc/en-us/articles/4415484574349-How-to-Upgrade-Firmware-Using-the-Amcrest-IP-Config-Tool EDIT: I'm happy with the AD110 version available from the d...

Re: New Firmware for AD110 and AD410 Available

So my AD110 is completely local and I never use the Amcrest Home app - aside from the only time to configure it about 2 years ago. Is there any method to update the firmware without the App or a Home app account? EDIT: I came across the Amcrest IP Config tool and was able to log in to the device wi...

Re: AD110 no longer records or plays recorded

Just came back to the forum to write a post about this. Seems like I am not the only one. Snapshots are ok but no videos are being recorded.

Re: AD110 consistent AM Reboots (EST) once a week.

Im on V1.000.00AC006.0.R.20200922 and did some digging on the settings which I dont believe suffer from the Tuesday 2AM reboot. On a factory default state config, these four lines are interesting: table.All.AutoMaintain.AutoRebootDay=2 table.All.AutoMaintain.AutoRebootEnable=false table.All.AutoMain...

Re: AD110- Can you disable the mechanical chime?

This is what worked for me to disable mechanical chime. Again, a word caution about chaging values via the web-api but I've done this on my own AD110 without issues. You have to set ExternalDoorBell.Enable=false AND set ExternalDoorBell.Type=0. So: http://<ip address of ad110>/cgi-bin/configManager....

Re: 2nd Mechanical Chime Hum

I took the time last night and did some more calculations and I overestimated, by alot :D . Better than underestimating I say. So I took more precise measurements and calculated wire runs at: 45ft from doorbell to transfromer, 20ft from transformer to Mechanical chime 1 (with the chime kit) and 13ft...

Re: 2nd Mechanical Chime Hum

Thanks for the valuable input. Im not an expert electrician but how would I tell if its not real cat 5E and does it even matter if its real 5E or not? I looked at the markings on the cable and its listed as "UTP 5E ISO/IEC 11801 TIA VERIFIED ... 321ft...". The lengths fall below the 100 me...

Re: AD110 Doorbell Persistent Night Vision Off

Just found this thread having bought an AD110 recently, and found it losing connection over night. Had tracked it down to the IR setting already, but amazed to find its such a well known issue, and not really resolved :-( In case the info is useful to anyone in further debugging, I see the issue wh...

2nd Mechanical Chime Hum

I have an AD110 connected to 2 mechnical chimes all wired to a new 16VAC 30VA transformer. I've also attached the included chime kit to the first mechanical chime. However, about 2 ago I noticed a humming noise from the 2nd mechanical chime. Until I find the resolution, I've disconnected the seconda...
