I am also having problems with P2P, while setting up my NV4108E-A2, mine never showed 'ONLINE'. I think my problem may be in the firewall, I do not see my NVR in the 'allowed' list. What do I call my NVR to add it to the firewall allowed list in Windows?
Thanks, Roger Beno

Dazed and confused senior citizen
I have a NV4108E-A2 with seven IP cameras hooked straight to the NVR and my home network. The cameras and NVR work great. I have a Windows 11 pc, I7 eight core, gobs of memory also hooked straight to the same home network. I installed Amcrest Surveillance Pro on my PC and it cannot find my cameras. ...

Re: playback using browser on NV4116E
I believe Amcrest software developers use Javscript to write their programs. Trying to view the NVR video with a browser does not go smoothly. Take a look at this article... https://www.enablejavascript.io/en/how-to-enable-javascript-on-internet-explorer I think IE is the only browser which still su...

POE switch?
I am probably kicking a dead horse, but it's MY first time that I've stumbled across the critter. I have five HD cameras which are not POE, running on CAT6 cable going through two switches feeding into my router, and then into my 4108 NVR recorder. I would like to add one or two POE cameras. Can I d...

Which Amcrest download for Chromebooks
Hello,
I have a PC and a Chromebook, which Amcrest download will work best on my new Asus Chromebook?
There is a download for Mac, one for PC/Windows, and an IOS download for I phones.
Thanks in advance, Roger

Capturing a live photo from an Amcrest camera to use elswhere
This is probably 'old school' for most here, but I had to learn the process by trial and error. How to capture a photo from an Amcrest camera live. Bring up your Amcrest camera screen on the Amcrest Pro cell phone application, on the bottom of that screen, click on the camera icon and take photo(I o...

Is there a procedure for changing camera channels?
Hello, I think I may be kicking a dead horse, but I could not find a way to change camera channels in the forum history. Is there a simple way to reassign cameras to different channels? I have an eight channel NV4108 with all updates available, and five Amcrest cameras, four hard wired, one on WIFI....
