Why doesn’t Amcrest spend time testing BEFORE releasing upgrades. Seems like a constant history of problems whenever you release an upgrade. Can you mature the change management process so we, your customers, are not continually inconvenienced when upgrades are released.

I had the same issue with my Gmail account. I created a Yahoo account with the config below. Also had to hunt for the Yahoo setting, “Allow apps that use less secure sign in“ to make it work. Hope this help...

Interesting that a firmware “fix” are for cameras NOT in the majority represented in these expanding threads. I think it is time to abandon this brand and move on with another solution. My camera models IP2-841, IPM-721B, and IPM-723B all stopped sending email alerts using my gmail account. Tried recommendations from previous threads to change from SSL to TLS but that didn’t work.
