Re: AD410 Crashes When Doorbell Is Pressed
I have had the same problem and was able to fix this. I fixed this by logging into the ad410 via the desktop (with the amcrest surveillance application, not sure on the name). There I changed the audio encoding. It seems that somehow the ad410 was set to using a 711 encoding. Changing the audio enc...

Re: AD410 Crashes When Doorbell Is Pressed
Yep, very true about support between companies and third parties. It's just unfortunate that the while the 410 has better motion sensing capabilities with human detection, it's step backward in compatibility compared to the 110 when it comes to this aspect, and the additional features barely justify...

Re: AD410 Crashes When Doorbell Is Pressed
Good call . . . Yet another factory reset did the trick. That was going to be much later on my to-do list as I had just done one recently. This time, I disabled the camera in my Synology SVS FIRST. Upon re-enabling it in SVS, the two way audio fails again. I get that SVS can "push" setting...

Re: AD410 Crashes When Doorbell Is Pressed
Update: wired in a different brand new 24v transformer and same thing. Also tried a multi voltage transformer and connected to 16v leads, same thing. Realized in my previous note I forgot to mention that it gives an error in the app: Ring the bell Get "someone is at doorbell" notification ...

Re: AD410 Crashes When Doorbell Is Pressed
Confirmed Nothing checked in chimes What is the supported voltage range of the doorbell? I've seen conflicting information. I will switch my transformer out with a 16v and see if that makes a difference. So I exaggerated saying 10 it's more like 6 actions necessary for quick replies. When the doorbe...

Re: AD410 Crashes When Doorbell Is Pressed
AD410 connected to a brand new installed 24V power supply No physical bell/chime connected No Amcrest relay installed Chime selection option was skipped during setup Every time I press the doorbell button, the unit reboots itself. Thoughts? Also, does the Amcrest brand digital chime product not exis...

Re: Amcrest Doorbell
Thanks jack7, unfortunately you can only pan around the image after zooming on while the video is playing. You can't play it to a certain point, pause, and then zoom in on anything other than the center. You can hit play again, quickly pan around and then try to pause it when your subject enters the...

Re: Amcrest Doorbell
Well, the Amcrest app finally went bonkers the last few nights and now it too alerts on every little bug or debris that moves around when night vision is enabled. I have basically now turned the motion detection off and use it only for when someone pushes the button. On top of that, the app is a wre...

Re: Amcrest Doorbell
What I've noticed is when selecting the AD110 drop down configuration it's not actually using the AD110 PIR sensor even when the Detection Algorithm Source is set to "Camera". if you use the ONVIF config and let it detect, it surfaces the "PIR" sensor tab in the Event Detection s...

Re: Amcrest Doorbell
This camera is a messy nightmare, but it's the most functional one I've tested. Some notes for getting it to work with Synology Surveillance Station (SSS) - Stay on the 20200509 firmware. It has HDR setting and support for SD card whereas the latest one as of 3/2021 does not. If you want night visio...
