Re: NV5232e-16p unusable with IP4M-1051w
Naive question: if there is not recording set up, is the NVR still streaming the main streams from the cameras? (given the low bandwidth utilization I’m assuming no, but jack7 ’s comment above seem to indicate that maybe it does?). Disabling smart codec actually makes things slower unfortunately. I ...

Re: NV5232e-16p unusable with IP4M-1051w
I brought the fps/bitrate down in case it was a bandwidth issue, adjusting to the settings you’re recommending above doesn’t really change anything unfortunately, still getting very choppy video with higher latency now which is all very frustrating.

Re: NV5232e-16p unusable with IP4M-1051w
This is how I have each camera configured: as you can see, I’m downsampling both the main and substream a lot, and there is very little network contention. Despite that loading each individual camera, whether from the NVR or from the camera itself causes them to freeze. Cable between the NVR and rou...

Re: NV5232e-16p unusable with IP4M-1051w
That’s a good idea, I’ll try to connect over ethernet just to test things out. But I believe there is a deeper issue beyond that: if I *only* connect the cameras and expose each of them to Amcrest View Pro, then I have no issue whatsoever streaming all of them, but as soon as the NVR enters the equa...

NV5232e-16p unusable with IP4M-1051w
I posted about this a few months ago, ended up tossing the NVR aside, but tried making this work again. Here's my setup: - One dedicated TP-Link AX50 router - The NVR is connected to the router over ethernet, has a static IP, port 37777 is forwarded to the NVR, and I have successfully added it to Am...

Re: Bunch of issues with the NV5232E-16P
Oh interesting, is that a new firmware for the NVR, or for the cameras?
Looks like my cameras are running V2.620.00AC000.3.R, Build Date: 2019-09-19
Also, what's that about ONVIF authentication? To clarify, I don't have an issue with authenticating, it's really a bandwidth problem overall

Re: Bunch of issues with the NV5232E-16P
Thanks for your response. I haven't plugged the POE yet, so no problems there. Thanks for the tip to change the fan, I'll do that. The main issue which I'm still not sure how to resolve is getting all the wireless cameras onto the NVR. It's currently plugged directly in the router, I already tried d...

Bunch of issues with the NV5232E-16P
I've just spent the entire day trying to make this work but I'm struggling. My setup is the following: - TP-LINK AX6000 router (should go up to 1148Mbps on the 2.4GHz band) - NV5232E-16P is connected over ethernet to my router - I have 8 IP8M-2496EB POE cameras that I haven't setup yet (need to do t...
