Re: AD110 Pressing button don't Call Phone
Msytery Solved... Im just glad my bell is working.. It would be nice to have an auto call option, while I know it isnt a cell phone process as Gary mentions apps like Whatsapp call you via data so its certainly possible. Im not sure how the other doorbells work - the biggest in the uk is "Ring&...

Re: AD110 Pressing button don't Call Phone
Hi Gary and James, So I watched the video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RDgBMfIhgo (time 7:40) and it seems my Doorbell is working as it should? I should not hear a ringing tone when the doorbell is pressed only the notifcation that is working for me (after I press I get the call screen). To be...

Re: AD110 Pressing button don't Call Phone
Hi Gary,
Thanks for replying - I do get the notification sound alert for both motion and bell press but the phone does not move to accept / reject screen without pressing on the notification on the home page - I assume the phone should go into call mode when the bell is pressed?
John

Re: AD110 Pressing button don't Call Phone
Well ive reset my doorbell (twice) and removed the feed from my NVR and the bell STILL doesnt ring my phone. I must say that im more than annoyed at buying something that literally doesnt work. I still get a notification and sound alert motion is detected and the same when I press the bell. The only...

Re: AD110 Pressing button don't Call Phone
Seems strange, you would think the app would handle the ring after the notification comes through but clearly not if a hardware reset is required. I also have a NVR with the rtsp stream loaded, it was the reason I chose the Amcrest vs a ring. It would be a shame if I cant have it on the NVR. I have ...

Re: AD110 Pressing button don't Call Phone
Hi, I think I’m seeing this problem, when I press the button I get a notification someone is at the door but I need to press the notification alert to accept. Should the doorbell actually ring the phone? Or is there a setting I need to change? (Call notification is on so I guess not) It’s a pain hav...

Re: Motion Event HTTP API SDK
Hi Gary, Thanks greatly for your reponse - I see you have done lots of work on this. I also see lots around the HA community talking about Home Assistant, although Ive not used it - Im using The Home Remote (thehomeremote.com) which is similar. I learned a little JS for this system but i know nothin...

Re: Motion Event HTTP API SDK
Hi,
Thanks I will tread carefully. I tried a few from the api but the camera started misbehaving- the bitrate went really low and colours dropped to 4, not sure if it was related but hard reset corrected it.

Re: Motion Event HTTP API SDK
Hi,
Is there a basic HTTP GET call that can be made to see if motion is detected?
http://192.168.1.108/cgi-bin/alarm.cgi? ... etOutState
The above is posted in the api for a result of 1 should motion be detected but does not work on my AD110.
Thanks
John

Re: Help choosing a chime that works
Hi,
If you live in the UK (or eu) then I can confirm the Honeywell D142 Atanta works. It’s not the loudest chime by any means but is listed as compatible (named as Friedland 142) and I have one and tested it as working. It’s about £13 on Amazon.
