I'm having this issue, a quick google search led me to a few answers. This appears to be a manufacturers defect. You can "fix" it by putting small strips of electrical tape on both sides of the lens. The issue is the infrared lights shine into the lens itself. https://ipcamtalk.com/threads...

I did a test last night and narrowed down the issue. The issue is with the Night Vision threshold. It's set too low and it keeps going in and out of night vision, eventually shutting down the camera.
