Re: Adding cameras using POE switch...?
thank you all, I think I had a faulty cable. I was able to connect the amcrest switch to my router, and two cameras to the switch, and they work well. The only little issue is: once the cameras are "found' scanning their codes, each camera becomes a device. So now I have 4 camera under "NV...

Hello, I wish to add a camera to my (awesome) Amcrest NVR system which already has 5 POE cameras. Problem is, the location for the new camera is very tricky for cabling, so I was looking for a wireless camera: wifi + battery, I assume? What Amcrest product can I look at for this? Amcrest help states...

Re: Hello all, narrow zoom poe camera?
Thank you Revo... I have a NV4108E-HS. Actually, I found this camera, which zooms in to 12mm (30degree) although a reviewer wrote that is not a real x4 zoom but only 2.4...? https://www.amazon.com/Amcrest-Varifocal-2-7mm-12mm-Weatherproof-IP8M-MB2546EW/dp/B08285VP1V/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UT...

Hello all, narrow zoom poe camera?
Hello, I am a very happy customer, with a NVR + 5 eop cameras from Amcrest. Hardware and software work nearly flawlessly, on the base, on PC and on iphone: it has been great so far. I just register on these forums to ask: I need a narrower poe camera, maybe 50 tp 40 degree horiz. view angle, possibl...
