Re: AD110 Random Dropouts
Since having added a blue Iris PC to the mix, my AD110 began dropping and reconnecting every few minutes between 1:30AM AND 5:45AM. I noticed band with consumption on my WiFi mesh from the AD110 is doubled with both the NVR and Blue Iris connecting to the cam. I’ve just stopped BI and found the drop...

Re: Doorbell Press Event
Hi @ExTechjunkie You simply preface the IP address with http:// userid:password@ ipaddress All Amcrest/Dahua devices use Digest Authentication for several years now. Really old devices may still be using Basic. Thanks. I'd tried that already with no success. Apparently, none of my browsers support ...

Re: Doorbell Press Event
When using the HTTP API to talk to the cameras (or in my application, the NVR), how is authentication managed? I'm trying to write a script to automate a change of settings and I need to overcome the userID and password prompt. I've tried basic authentication with HTTP headers but that doesn't work....

AD110 How I answer a call (workaround)
Your mileage may vary, depending on... who knows what. This is what works for me, for now. Step 1. Someone presses the doorbell. This seems to break the ability to talk - in any app that works with the AD110. Step 2. If you have push notification enabled in SmartHome for the AD110, dismiss the notif...

Re: AD110 connected to NV4108E-HS
My AD110 on the shipped firmware version no longer reports motion after having set its IP address with my NVR. Bell ring push alerts to my phone still work via the Smart Home app and constant normal recording to my NVR still works so I’m counting my blessings. Motion detection issue solved. I used ...

Re: Video Doorbell Feature Requests
I see that from the original post, feature request #5 has been implemented - Alexa Show integration. I'm able to view my AD110 from my FireStick, provided that in between every viewing, I launch the SmartHome app on my iPhone, view the doorbell and then tap talk. The failed talk attempt seems to res...

AD110 display signal strength in WiFi selection
I have mesh WiFi. The AD110, being an older type of WiFi device, doesn’t display the entire mesh as one ssid. It lists the ssid as many times as I have nodes (3). It does not display the signal strength for each node the way that the IP2M-841x-V3 cameras do. When I select which of the nodes to conne...

Re: Motion Detect missing Frames
What’s that an increase or decrease of the bitrate? Curious to know if the cameras couldn’t manage the compression to lower bitrate or if the NVR couldn’t keep up recording the higher bitrate. I’m assuming the former not the latter.
