That all sounds like a hogwash of issues. Nothing seems consistent at all. If there was any sort of pattern to it, it would make more sense in my head. I'm leading this to just buggy firmware that needs to be rewritten.

So you're saying to reset the device and set it up with Wi-Fi first, then connect an ethernet cable after the fact and use as normal....and then wired & wireless should have ports that remain open even after rebooting the device? Am I understanding that correctly?

Every other camera I look at supports this feature. Foscam, Eufy, Wyze. Why is this not supported?

I am still waiting a fix with support. I usually have a weekly reply from them.

Just an update, I received a reply from support via email and they are involving the R&D team to help investigate the issue. Good progress!
