Re: IP5M-T1179EW-28

There is a problem with the ONVIF profile on this camera where it reports the mainstream to the DVR for both main and sub stream.

It is the same problem that is described here in the IP4M-1051.

Re: IP4M-1051 - ONVIF Mainstream and Substream are the same.

I'm pretty disappointed that this bug still hasn't been fixed.

The IP5M-T1179EW actually has the same issue too.

Re: IP5M-T1179EW ONVIF reporting identical URL for Mainstream and Substream

"Oddly I thought this might be an issue with new FW cameras"

I have some older IP4M-1026W cameras that do not have the problem with firmware 2.420.0001.3.R, Build Date 2018-02-06.

Re: IP5M-T1179EW ONVIF reporting identical URL for Mainstream and Substream

Also I just wanted to point out that the IP4M-1051 has the same problem. Firmware: 2.620.00AC000.3.R, Build Date 2019-12-18 ONVIF Version: 16.12(V2.4.1.513183) In NxWitness/DWSpectrum this has the negative effect of preventing it from doing motion record on the camera. The software disables motion r...

IP5M-T1179EW ONVIF reporting identical URL for Mainstream and Substream

The IP5M-T1179EW seems to have a problem in the ONVIF software where it reports the same URL for both mainstream and substream. rtsp://CAMERAIP:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0&unicast=true&proto=Onvif This shows up in NxWitnes, DWS Spectrum, and in ONVIF Device Manager, any of wh...

Re: ONVIF authentication not working in newer cameras

I have DW Spectrum which does detect the camera as ONVIF, but the Primary and Secondary stream URL is identical and is using the main stream. ONVIF Device Manager shows the same problem, so I think it's a problem in the camera and not some quirk with DW Spectrum. This causes the motion record to not...

I'm curious how long it should take to fix bugs like this in the firmware.

Yep. I have a couple IP4M-1026B cameras that also work as they should.

Re: IP4M-1051 - ONVIF Mainstream and Substream are the same.

I don't think it is something I did. It still occurs after factory defaulting. Can you provide a link to the Android app? Searching ONVIFER doesn't return anything matching it exactly. Also... I'm not an ONVIF expert, but the SubStream profile looks partially right to me when viewing it in Onvif Dev...
