NVR web UI only works on IE when port forwarded
Hello everyone. This is sort of an extension of a thread I started in the NVR forum. Figured I'd ask here for more exposure. I have an NVR that is using port forwarding in order for cameras to be viewed outside the network. -Using the iOS app, cameras/playback are visible, and everything works -Use ...

Re: NV4216 no camera feeds ONLY on web UI
Sadly, substream still does not work. So here's what's weird. On MacOS, it doesn't work when using Chrome or Safari. On Windows 10, It doesn't work on Chrome or Microsoft Edge. But, it DOES seem to work on Internet Explorer, AFTER I allow it to install and run some sort of plugin https://imgur.com/a...

Re: NV4216 no camera feeds ONLY on web UI
They finally replied today, asking if I've tried lowering the resolution of the cameras (they think it's due to bandwidth issues). I don't believe this is the case. The NVR is port forwarded. My IP5M turret camera is port forwarded. I can access the port forwarded IP5M video feed just fine using the...

Re: NV4216 no camera feeds ONLY on web UI
I am not using UPNP due to potential security issues. I have everything manually set up in my pfsense firewall.
If my port forwarding wasn't working, then I shouldn't be able to view from my iOS app or the Amcrest Surveillance Pro desktop app.

Re: NV4216 no camera feeds ONLY on web UI
Mine is the normal NON-POE version, but I don't think it matters, right?

Re: NV4216 no camera feeds ONLY on web UI
In my firewall rules, I am forwarding (for example) external port 4000, which will resolve to internal port 80. All NVR port settings are set to defaults. So i just have to type my DDNS address with the port, and I can access the cameras. as a completely fake example, http://myddnsaddress.ddns.net:4...

NV4216 no camera feeds ONLY on web UI
Hey all. I have a weird issue that popped up recently. Background info: I have about 11 Amcrest POE cameras connected to an NV4216-AI NVR. It's all in a remote location, behind a pfSense gateway/router. Port forwarding is set up, and I can access the NVR remotely. P2P is disabled, and everything has...

Re: NVR clocks and Daylight Savings
@Revo2Maxx how did you set it? I disabled NTP, but even when the correct timezone is set, the clock will revert back on its own. I have to leave it as the incorrect time zone in order for the clock to display correctly.
