I am switching over from an analog system and trying to get rid of as many wires as I can...
This camera series is not POE is it? I thought WIFI was the way to go but it is too choppy (momentary freezing) so I am going to go with Ethernet connections

That was it, I swapped an antenna from an old cam, (glad I didn't toss it!) all 3 work wit it... Need to scrounge a couple more antennae and all will be well... (Sometimes eBay can be a crap shoot :roll: )

That behavior is what happens when you have a poorly attached antenna or no antenna at all. I've seen it on my IP4M-1026. I think you nailed it, I took the antenna off of one and moved it around the house and the results were exactly the same with or without the antenna installed. They were sold as...

The antennas are securely attached...(as tight as I can get them by hand)

However that is kind of my fault my Home is built with normal wood studs, then 5/8" drywall then has thick Grid wire that 1 inch of concrete is layered on... Nothing unusual in the walls, I have tried them in various locations with the same results... Take the camera and connect it to close to...

I just acquired (3) IP4M-1026 cameras, I connected 2 of them to my WIFI network, they have absolutely no reception range, if they are more than 10' - 15' from my router they will not work... I have other cameras connected at 50' that work fine so it has to be an issue with this model camera. Anyone ...
