Re: New Network - now can't setup wi-fi

Do you have the ability to set the router to use the exact same SSID and password as the old one? Then they'll automatically connect, at which point you can configure them with your new network settings and change it back. Also, your smartphone probably will let you do this as a Hotspot...? Re: Amcrest Smart Home "Server" down?

Finally got mine to connect. Had to do a hard reset. Make sure you get it enough time to fully complete. It was able to connect with no issues after that. Re: AD110 Trouble

Same problem here. Only thing I tried before reading this post was power-cycling the transformer, which made no difference. Camera is still accessible on LAN with 3rd party iPhone app (LiveCams Pro). Hopefully they get it sorted soon.

Re: Manual Pan / Tilt Turret Amcrest camera models

The infrared image quality is on par with other models/brands. That said, the extra pixels you get @ 2160p don't buy you much at night. It's the daytime image that really outshines 1080p by far.

Re: New IPM-723B Working Great but a few issues...

That camera only supports 2.4GHz, so it won't benefit from the 5GHz in the extender. I would bet that your connection will be less stable despite the stronger signal you may receive. Putting a bandwidth intensive camera on an extender is not recommended. I've been down this road and decided that too...

Re: Manual Pan / Tilt Turret Amcrest camera models

I have the T2499EW and it can be manually oriented any which way within the dome enclosure.

In a perfect world we wouldn't need these cameras. :)

Gmail is definitely not the best solution, but it works well enough for me to have something in the cloud, as opposed to something easily stolen at gunpoint.

I had to forward all three of these ports. I have no idea which it's using but it works.

Re: Email test fails

Like I said, mine works, just by allowing less secure apps, which I believe is separate from 1 vs 2-step verification.
