Re: Anyone notice...
I will say the night time image on then are awsome for a 4k camera. Very much improved over the 2499's. You're paying for the sensor size with them. To bad you lose out on the sd card and audio.

Anyone notice...
I recently updated my firmware and logged onto my ip8m-2597e cameras and noticed they now have smart plan and IVS rules consisting of tripwire and intrusion detection. Wondering if there are plans with the new 5 series NVRs to add IVS recording. I mean the cameras and NVR were sold together as a bun...

Just here to add my two cents also. I get the same thing as the OP describes. I'm using a note 10 also.

Re: Mobile app liveview/playback
Also forgot to add, If I use the chrome webview app to access the nvr for live view or playback its smooth just like on the nvr it's self. I can even fast foward it at upto 4x speed and playback is smooth just 4 times faster of course.

Re: Mobile app liveview/playback
Cameras are directly connected to the NVR at the moment. Then the NVR is connected to my router where my PC is connected. Everything is CAT6e cables hand made and tested. I also bought another poe switch with gigabit connections so I could isolate from my main network. I also tried connecting them t...

Re: Mobile app liveview/playback
Well I talked to Amcrest support and they lowered the camera setting to what I already found out through playing around. h265 with 4096 bitrate and 15fps. I did mess around some more though and discovered that the playback is smooth when using chrome app ughh. Using ASP, ie or the mobile app the pla...

Re: Mobile app liveview/playback
Yeah, I don't see very much of a image difference with h265 at 4096 vs h264 at 8192. Far off objects you can sort of tell the difference but not to much. Not that i have a choice for the camera. Anything higher and it just wont play back smooth. I opened up a RTSP stream with VLC and took it off the...

Re: Any cameras with...
Nope, Tripwire, I guess it's also known as line crossing detection. You can draw a line on the camera view and say if something cross the line start recording.

Any cameras with...
tripwire detection. Was looking through various models seeing if any had this feature. I haven't ran across any but just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking any so figured I'd come here and ask. I have one, maybe two cameras I really would like to have this feature on. Thanks.

Re: Mobile app liveview/playback
Thank you for the tips. I had some time to do more digging. I ran a ping test from one of my desktops thats connected to wifi and was getting 2-4ms pings to the nvr consistently. Wired it's sub 1ms. I did how ever notice that when i maxed out the bit rates on the cameras that a difference appeared. ...
