Re: Connecting to wifi extender?
DO not use extenders, they cut the band with in half just to re-broadcast the signal.
Its expensive, but the best to use is a router in bridge mode, teathered to anoth router in access point more.
And with today routers in 5G, you get connections like mine with Asus RT-AC86U of 1300mbps on the 5G.

Make sure that the devices have acces to intranet, if you are using guest client service.
If you are using the same SSID, make sure you are on different channels, so the don't conflict.
If you are using different SSID, you will have to reconfigure the camera to the new SSID.

Amcrest Puggin Desktop Viewing
Again, I'm starting another thread... We need an update in the firmware of the ip Cameras. I getting sick and tired of having to use an older verion of Window Internet Exployer with a plugin to view that camera video. I purchased cameras over two years ago, and I'm still waiting for an update. The N...

Amcrest View Pro UPdated
When is the Amcrest View Pro coming out with an update?
I mean, it like soooooo old! I think it was built for IOS 9.0
Now that iOS 11 is here, how about updating the app?
This company has the slowest response for software updates!

Re: NV4108E-HS: How to capture/email multiple snapshots on motion event?
I believe the camera or NVR with send multiple email with one picture each.
So, if you have it set up for 5 pictures, upon a mothion dection, five emails will come with one picture each.
I though there would be one email with five pictures.

Re: Mix wireless IP camera with wired cameras
Always go wired when possible. For the cameras that are located at another building, use a wireless router set in bridge mode. YOu will get a better connection rate, and longer distance with 9 or 12 dbi antennas on the back of the routers. From the bridge, wire the remaning camera into it. I can pro...

NV4108 Factory Reset
I mistakenly made the address of my NVR 192.168.1.255
I forgot that this is the broadcast address. Anyone have any suggestion on how to do a factory reset?
I cannot use my browser to acess the HTML at 192.168.1.255
THanks
