If a hard, physical factory reset doesnt work, I would ask Amcrest to exchange it or give you a good trade-in price.

Re: SD Recording Fragmented
Well I think I found my issue. Good that you were able to identify your power supply problem, but it doesnt seem to be related to the issue at hand here due to the fact that it involves identical failures of Amcrest cameras in two different states about a thousand miles apart on the same day. Thats...

"if you have a vacation property you may want to setup a Site to Site VPN to your vacation property then use a Remote Client VPN into your home LAN.. then your remote VPN connection can access both video surveillance systems on the same network and both networks are directly connected." I...

Re: SD Recording Fragmented
I should point out that this problem cropped up last November, cleared up, and then re-occured this November. Very odd.

Re: SD Recording Fragmented
Maybe setup your app to push alert for Recording error? I setup my Critical cameras to Email me on HDD error and when it gets low so I can look over the old footage before over writes and I have started Formatting them before they get full to keep down errors.. A NVR alert about a Hard Drive error ...

Re: SD Recording Fragmented
Do you use ASP at all with your cameras? No ASP, no Cloud. Acessed by web interface. It is odd that a Camera that is Remote and your local camera would stop working the same day. This leads me to believe that as Jack7 said cloud or as I am saying maybe ASP has made a change in settings on a Multi c...

Re: SD Recording Fragmented
Was your camera video stream working on the 8th? Are you using amcrest cloud? The amcrest cloud link in lower left corner of your screenshot caused me to mention it. Maybe cooler weather now is causing the problem? Change in weather might be a logical culprit, just not this time. We have had big...

Re: SD Recording Fragmented
So this issue, which affected most but not all my cameras, seemed to go away for several months and just re-appeared. This time, however, it was also happening to the same model camera in a different city in almost the identical manner. I formatted the card in one camera and allowed it to reboot, an...

Re: IP8M-T2599E goes offline
Follow up: Amcrest RMA replaced the camera as not working with the recommended SD card. They explicitly said they would not replace the camera with an older model. The replacement has not exhibited the same problems. so far, so good.
