Would love to see a video doorbell with an RJ45 port
I understand the benefits and ease of installation with WiFi, however, it has its share of problems too; mainly, reliability. I consider front door surveillance to be a critical function of my home network, and not something I’d chance to WiFi. I’d love to see an Amcrest video doorbell with a proper...

Re: Does price drop mean new cameras coming?
In all Honesty if your in a Low Light area and need the best CCTV solution for the buck I would keep the 4mp or lower in your line up. There are some really good 4k cameras out there for night time use but they are VERY costly to build and buy. Or in the areas you want 4k coverage but need a good n...

Re: Does price drop mean new cameras coming?
It looks like they are focusing on AI cameras as the next evolution, so you can probably get non AI cameras at a deal now. You can get interior 4mp cameras, however. But yeah, I think going 4k on all is the best. If you are looking to be as economical as possible I believe they still have 1080 exter...

Re: Amcrest Doorbell
I'm with you vixhex the hardware is great, but the software leaves a little to be desired. Honestly, I would be willing to pay a nominal fee for better software and app support. For example, my wife can't use talk back on any of the cameras I have 2-way audio setup because she has Android devices an...

Re: IP4M-1051 Audio
I have the same camera for about a year, but never had the audio issue you described. Glad to hear that you got it sorted out. A problem that I did have with that camera though is that the onboard loudspeaker isn't really loud at all, even with the volume maxed out. I have the camera mounted in my l...

Thanks for taking the time to do that, Revo2Maxx. I'm going to go ahead with ordering the bells.

Two AD410 Doorbells + Max Smart Home Cameras
Hello, I have 2 questions regarding Smart Home: Is there any issue with using 2 AD410 doorbells in the same house (1 for front and back door), and can they sync to the same chime? Is there any limit to the number of cameras that could be integrated to the Smart Home cloud? The KB article found here:...
