I agree. Too many pieces complicating our systems.
Never know if cam not accessing the network or phone taking up all bandwidth uploading photos to google.
I try not to dig too long or too hard anymore. Not much hair left to pull out.

Another thing I have noticed now that FTP activated for snapshot only, the email option of snapshots is intermittent or motion is completely missed. May be resources not available for detecting motion when cam is processing last motion? For now it seems like FTP is not worth using and glad I got you...

Thanks for the reply. I save remotely but like you said it should not effect the record size. This is my 2nd IP2M-841 in few years. I remember using old cam to save recordings with no problems except that over triggering was filling server space (why I stopped saving recordings). Checking the record...

Saving recordings through FTP
I have an IP2M-841 cam and motion detect is set to 15 second recording.
When I select local SD as storage, it records 15 seconds. But selecting FTP, it only saves 3 seconds of video to server.
Is there a setting that I am missing?

Is there a way to save settings for plugin?
Setting like W:H and fluency.
I have looked around but unable to find (if exist) a configuration file holding the default values.
