Over max 256 channel(s)

We have several Amcrest NVRs. Upon adding more NVR's to ASP, I get the error message, "Device ***, over max 256 channel(s) Channel limit, as to log out this device." Then NVR's, usually at the bottom of the list logout. It appears in the bottom right corner then disappears. It seems like A...

Re: 2 PCs running ASP. Out of sync

We solved the issue by connecting directly to the NVR. If you use P2P, you may have all kinds of issues. By going direct, almost all these issues were resolved.

One more note: The number of seconds out of sync is not consistent.

ASP Timeout over WAN

Hello, We are running ASP over WAN links to continuously watch remote DVR's. Every day it looks like ASP looses connection to the NVR's it is talking to and shows the Unknown Device or Search Stream Timeout. It looks like ASP doesn't really have a reconnect function at all. I know I can keep debuggi...

2 PCs running ASP. Out of sync

Hello, We have a strange issue I was curious if the forum could help with. We have 128 cameras tied to 4 4432 NVR's. When looking at the NVR's primary screen, all of the cameras are in sync time wise and there is very little lag. That tells me that the NVR is keeping up with the recording process. W...

Snapshot URL for Extra Stream

I am looking to take a snapshot on my Extra Stream (VGA Channel) via the SDK and return a JPG. My Main Channel is currently set to its highest resolution, and I would like to leave it that way. I have tried the <URL>/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi a number of different ways, and it looks like the snapshot fun...

Re: Live View Max # of Windows

We have a PC with a six headed video card. Our plan was to put about 4-6, maybe a max of 9 cameras per screen. That would be a total 54 live views, and we would use the Sub Stream VGA view to keep the bandwidth manageable. It looks like ASP has this monitor limitation built in. Does anyone know of o...

Live View Max # of Windows

I have ASP running on a PC with multiple monitors. I noticed that when clicking on the Live View button, I can only open 4 separate windows at one time. I am looking to open 6. Anyone have any idea how to work around this limitation ?

Thanks,
Dave

Re: Import/Export Configuration

Yeah. I see the config path. I am just seeing if someone has already done what I am about to do, which is determine how ASP stores the view data so I can duplicate it to another PC.
