Re: 64 bit Software for Mac

Best solution I found, scrap the Mac Surveillance Pro usage and just purchase a windows laptop to use for your camera system, and let Amcrest Software techs continue their work. Apple platform is very difficult and very time consuming to write a program with no bugs. They really should hire an Apple...

Re: MacOS Software

It took one year for a Beta use only package to be released, this indicates that Amcrest programmers are having a difficult time with their software to work under Apples new requirements. Apple is a very difficult platform for programmers and they are not devoting a full team to get this to work so ...

Re: Cant use Amcrest Surveillance PRO from an outside network

Send the following info to Tech Support to see what they say, so far I can use the Pro on Windows10 with P2P camera serial number setup, but will no longer work with Mac until AmCrest comes up with a patch fix.
Send them Version of Windows, CPU 32 or 64 bit, Ram installed, and version of Pro App

I'm getting about 40 emails per day from my cameras using Yahoo. When did it quit working?
The New IP POE camera systems do not work on email servers, the older systems work still

Re: GMail setup - test email fails

All I have to say is Amcrest does not work with any email server, and I have several other brands that do. So if Amcrest tech advisers and on line forum administrators are going to lash out at customers that have continuing issues and these issues are not being handled in a timely manner, that is ju...

Re: Amcrest Surveillance Pro not working with the new Mac 64 bit Catalina OS

How about giving us a temporary fix that works on the prior Mac update High Sierra 10.13.6 which was working prior to several weeks ago running your 32 bit program on a 64 bit older OS? I used it for months on my camera system configured P2P in the Pro Setup. I have not upgraded to Catalina but it s...

Re: GMail setup - test email fails

There is NO FIX for the Gmail Server issue. I have spent countless hours researching this. Issue is Amcrest needs to comply with Gmails new standards of Certificates. If you call technical on this they direct you to try Yahoo, which also does not work with Amcrest anymore. Let me tell you all that t...

Re: Two Way Talk Issues

Solution was to get rid of the NVR unit, I am now using a POE inserter, and for storage an NAS unit. This is the best I have ever setup with any system. Using a Qnap NAS unit you can direct each camera to a public folder to store all the video and access it from anywhere. Also you bypass the NVR scr...
