Events off a NV2104E-HS

How do I copy a certain event to flash drive ? If you can go to a certain time frame on a event why can't you delete the time frame?

Have a Amcrest ProHD Outdoor 4-Megapixel PoE Vandal Dome IP Security Camera - IP67 Weatherproof, IK10 Vandal-Proof, 4MP (2688 TVL), IP4M-1028E-28MM (Black). The camera is perfect in daytime, seems to cover 1/5 of the daytime area at nighttime. Camera is under overhang facing down to cement at a front...

Re: DVR system on Cat6

WOW Thanks guys I just can't decide what is best NVR or DVR for me. I just want good quality and reliable system. Have a POE in my garage now and it seems to be OK when hooking a monitor to the NVR, had troubles when trying to network the setup to a slow computer. I'm more thinking of not using the ...

Re: DVR system on Cat6

Thanks again Revo2Maxx Just so many options in doing this stuff for a diy person. So if you were building new house what cable would you run to every camera? Can the DVR be in basement and all wires connect there ? Can you buy the cable in bulk and install ends yourself, or buy ready made cables? Wo...

DVR system on Cat6

I see the dvr system uses BNC cable, does the RJ45 to BNC connector lose quality? I just can't decide if the dvr or nvr is the best for me. How long of a run can you go with cat6 and the bnc connector? Seems like the dvr system might be easy to set up,just looking for a quality system. Have cat6 in a...

Re: NV2104E-HS Local Setup

Couple quick questions I hooked up my NV2104E-HS to a faster computer today with internet, had it on for about a hour. Why would it use 1.8 gig of data? on a limited data plan this is a hard hit. I have the camera set to detect motion only and it does a real good job,I see in the log all the differen...

Re: New Amcrest User suggestions

Thanks Revo2Maxx I really like the poe cameras, nice not to run power to them. I like stuff hardwired. I have a limited data plan so thinking about staying away from internet. Just use the nvr to monitor what goes on,house has a alarm system. I really don't need to talk to someone at the door, just wa...

Re: New Amcrest User suggestions

Your right Revo2Maxx,a lot of difference. Going to give up on the computer idea and have monitor hooked up to NVR. I move around in the NVR software pretty good, not the way I wanted to hook up but will be the best for me. Time to take off the bench and mount on the garage and give it a try. Main hou...
