Re: Auto Maintenance - Delete Files X days - files not deleted

I use overwrite when full ... or I'd have to manually format every 2-3 weeks. Maybe I'm not clearly explaining the purpose of my post. Imagine if you will... You have an 8-channel NVR. You have 4 cameras connected to it. You only need 14 days of history. You want to know how much HDD space you are c...

Re: Auto Maintenance - Delete Files X days - files not deleted

Thanks for the feedback. I'm recording ~2TB per day (4 NVRs and 24 4MP cameras) and prefer to keep that traffic off the LAN.That is why I'm using HDDs in the NVRs verses a whopper of a NAS. Pros/Cons either way, but this gives me 4 points of storage failure (1 per NVR) and someone has to steal 4 NVR...

Re: Auto Maintenance - Delete Files X days - files not deleted

I've setup auto delete on both the NVR and the cameras ... neither remove old video recordings from the NVR's HDD. I only store snapshots to each camera's MicroSD card. I do not care about auto deleting those files. Automatic overwrite of oldest snapshot is sufficient for my needs. I'm interested re...

Auto Maintenance - Delete Files X days - files not deleted

When I set Auto Maintenance | Auto Delete Files after X days, days greater than X are hidden during playback, but they are not removed from HDD. I've duplicated this on several NVRs using the following method. 1. Disable Auto Delete Files 2. Format HDD 3. Record for 14 days 4. Turn on Auto Delete Fi...

Re: Accessing IP Cameras to make changes

Go to web UI for the NVR, Image|Remote Device page use the browser link for each camera. It will open http://NVR_IP:PORT where the PORT changes for each camera. Example: I have a PoE NVR with LAN IP 192.168.2.11. Camera on port 1 of the NVR's PoE switch is http://192.168.2.11:10080 Camera on port 2 ...

Re: NV4108E-HS time zone changing

FYI, the issue was Surveillance Pro's "Sync Time" option. It isn't time zone aware and/or is incorrectly detecting the time zone of the local PC as GMT-4. I duplicated the issue in ASP 2.0 beta. Disabling the daily time sync to all devices corrected the problem. The NVRs now hold time zone configura...

Re: Amcrest Surveillance Pro 2.0 Beta

The option to sync time with configured devices has a bug (exists in 1.14.1 too). It does not consider time zone so each day when it syncs my 5 NVRs, the time zone on the NVR is changed from GMT-5 to GMT-4. I'm running ASP on Windows 10 Pro in GMT-5+DST. All the NVRs are set to GMT-5+DST, but each t...

Re: IP4M-1051 Firmware Release

I was able to connect using Chrome App and Edge so I cleared Chrome cache and that resolved. I can connect to the IP4M-1028 cameras on the NVRs mixed with IP4M-1051 and IP3M-HX2 cameras.

Re: IP4M-1051 Firmware Release

Is there a planned update for the IP4M-1028? My NVRs have a mix of IP4M-1028, IP4M-1051 and IP3M-HX2. After updating the firmware on the later 2, I have issues accessing the web UI of the IP4M-1028s. The logon screen looks like this. logon.png After logon this is all I see for a menu. No other optio...

NV4108E-HS time zone changing

I have 4 of these NVRs. They are all set to GMT-5 with DST enabled ... typical Eastern US zone. Issue is periodically they change to GMT-4. With IPC Time Sync enabled this changes the camera time by +1 which is how I notice it in Surveillance Pro. I have disabled IPC Time Sync on the NVRs and enable...
