Thank You for your suggestions, I think the CAM is broke, or the firmware. I did set the SD card to overwrite. Just seems some features are lacking. e.g. The right hand file explorer defaults to the beginning of the list all the time, user can't delete files, can't restart a file you're viewing, etc...
